It is worth to note that GIKI admission test date has been announced. Online submission of admission forms for GIKI will start from April 21, 2019 and online forms will be accepted till June 19, 2019. Last date for the payment of processing fee will be June 20, 2019 and last date for receipt of financial assistance documents will be June 24, 2019.

Admission test will be held on June 30, 2019. Last date for receipt of SAT-II scores (for the case of overseas applicants) is July 02, 2019 and the admission test result will be uploaded on the website on July 05, 2019.

Joining and orientation will be held on 24^th and 25^th of August, 2019 (as per the academic calendar). And finally, classes will be commenced from Aug 26, 2019.

GIKI Admission Test Criteria

The admission in the Bachelor Programs of the institute is given to the candidates on the basis of their scores in the admission test and the performance in the intermediate examinations. The admission test is based on multiple choice questions from Pakistani intermediate level Physics, Mathematics and English subjects.

Candidates can pick out any test centre from Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Lahore, Quetta, Karachi and Multan according to their convenience. The test will be held at all of the aforementioned test centres simultaneously. All the details and venues can be found at the institute site.

The results of the admission test will be forwarded to the successful candidates online through admission website.

GIKI Entry Test Prerequisites

The prerequisite for appearing in admission test are as under:

1. HSSC (Pre-Engineering i.e. Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) with minimum 60% marks each in Mathematics, Physics & Overall.
2. HSSC (Pre-Medical) with Additional Mathematics and 60% or above marks each in Mathematics, Physics & Overall.
