All the admission procedure for Medical and Dental Colleges will be regulated by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) having Provisional Admission Committee and the College Admission Committee on board.

Before 1st of August, every year, PM&DC will notify the Schedule of all the admissions in Pakistan.

To apply in MBBS and BDS, the eligibility criteria has been raised from 60% to 70% marks in previous academic class.

National University of Medical Sciences will be the Admitting University of all Army Medical and Dental Colleges.

For the admission in all the Private Colleges of Pakistan, the Provisional Admission Test is acceptable.

Admissions will be 100% centralised, no college can give admission by itself. For the Admission in all Private and Public Colleges, it is required to apply through Admitting University.

The aggregate formula all over Pakistan will be 50% Marks of F.Sc/A-levels and 50% Entry Test Marks (Matric Marks are excluded).

The student scoring less than 60% in the entry test will be considered ineligible for admission in MBBS.

At least 70% Aggregate is compulsory for the admission in MBBS. For the admission in BDS, at least 60% is mandatory.

The first Merit List of Public Sector Medical College will be issued before 31st October and all the admission procedures will be completed before 30th November.

Within one week of ad placement by Public Medical Colleges, the Admitting University will put an advertisement for the admission in Private Medical Colleges.

The Admission in all private colleges will be completed till 31st of December in all cost.

No private college is allowed to publish any sort of advertisement regarding admissions itself.

If any seat of Public Sector Medical Colleges remain vacant after the 3rd merit list, the Top students from Private Colleges will be admitted in Public Sector Colleges for these seats.

For Open Merit Seats the total cost including all the expenses will not exceed 9 lac and 50 thousand Rupees. The admission fee will be 50,000 while 3,000 will be Prospectus fee separately.
