National University of Medical Sciences has uploaded the syllabus for NUMS-MDCAT 2019. The students are advised to make their preparation for the entry test in accordance with the prescribed syllabus.

Content Weightages for NUMS-MDCAT 2019

NUMS-MDCAT 2019 shall comprise of 200 Multiple Choice Questions MCQs, each carrying 1 mark. The division of MCQs is as under:

• Biology 80
• Chemistry 60
• Physics 40
• English 20

Minimum marks to qualify NUMS-MDCAT 2019 is 120/200 and there will be No negative marking.

Prescribed Syllabus

From the Biology subject, mainly 17 sections are included which further incorporate different sub-sections. Similarly, from Chemistry, eight sections from the first part, four from Inorganic Chemistry and nine sections from Organic Chemistry are sanctioned.

Sixteen sections are added in case of Physics Subject. Moreover, Vocabulary, Tenses, Sentence correction, Parts of Speech, Spellings and Punctuation are prescribed for English subject.
